Post the hype videos for your team below and get excited with me.

Yeah. It's been awhile since I was excited about my team.

Also, that Oregon game should be a good measuring stick type game for the Huskers. Still wish they could have lured Scott Frost away. Maybe he didn't want the pressure of possibly getting fired after winning 9 games, so that's understandable. Lol.

Last year, I would have gladly posted a hype video because I’d already seen a bunch and couldn’t wait for the season to start.
This year my alma mater is desperately trying to forget being embroiled in an enormous rape scandal involving numerous players, and allegedly coaches and administrators, as well. We no longer have our head coach, whom I really liked before this shit broke, and who I now fear is not the person I thought he was. My university has still failed to admit culpability in any sort of way. So many of our players and future players left or de-committed. And I can’t even remember the replacement coach’s name.
I am so horribly disappointed in the institution I love, disappointed in how they’ve handled the entire situation, and disappointed in how they’ve failed to live up to their own honor code and moral guidelines. I haven’t seen a single hype video for this season. I don’t even know if anyone has bothered to make one this year.
We still have some good guys on the team. Talented guys with good hearts (I hope, at least). Will I be watching the season opener tomorrow? You bet I will. Do I still want to see my university and my football team do better? Hell fucking yes.

It’s going to be a measuring stick for both teams. I’m just happy we have a good non conference game on the schedule as this week it’s UC Davis.
Yeah Riley was kind of a weird choice. In good years, the Beavers were way beyond what people expected but they were inconsistent and their recruiting wasn’t great. He does strike me as a “good guy” though.
The ducks this year are a crapshoot. Between defensive changes and the QB situation, it’s hard to know exactly how good of a team we will have(seen predictions from 7-5 to 10-2).

Understandable. Was always a fan of Baylor, they were that underdog that found some success a few years back. I'll still root for them against Texas of course.

They wanted someone who was the opposite of Pelini, and I guess that was Riley. Fans wonder why we can’t get a high profile coach. It’s because we haven’t had success for nearly 20 years and still get pissed off when we only manage 9 wins a year.
I look forward to the day where Nebraska has someone competent under center.

Well, obviously, because Texas sucks.
So do the Aggies. :D

I felt the same way with Michigan’s absolute horseshit handling of our stupid rapist kicker and rape-threatening OL a few years back.

I honestly try not to get hyped anymore. It’s best to start with low expectations and get pleasantly surprised.

Ugh, I used to live in Houston during the Manziel era. Aggie fans can be the worst.
I can’t stand the Longhorns because Nebraska always found a way to lose all the close games against them.

Michigan this year is interesting. I’m not sure if they’re going to be really good or meh. RichRod was the worst. For a time I think he interviewed for just about every job that came up.

Johnny Football was, and always will be, a spoiled little dipshit. Glad he’s finally out of the NFL, too.
And speaking of the Browns... I really, really hope RGIII finds the second chance he’s looking for with them, but I wasn’t too optimistic during his in-game sideline interview after he’d been pulled out of the Buccs game. He just sounded so defeated. I never heard him sound like that even when things were especially shitty at Washington, and most definitely never while he was at Baylor.

I have no school spirit whatsoever. It’s like being in a cult.
I ignore college sports because I refuse to devote the mental energy necessary to pay attention to that many teams. I particularly enjoy going to bars & restaurants without TVs during Wisconsin football games because I know they’ll be empty.

Yea. Honestly they could go 2-10 and if those two wins were MSU and OSU everyone would be happy. Also I think Harbaugh is trying too hard to be edgy, like Jared Leto joker stuff. Just stfu and deliver.
